On Thursday, May 28th, join us for our next Kidlit Distancing Social.

This week, Gabriela Pereira, author and founder of the DIYMFA, joins us to talk about a timely subject: How writers can overcome isolation and become part of a writing community.

Laura will have some current publishing news and, of course, we’ll celebrate the successes of some of our Children’s Book Insider members. Also, it’s week two of “Where in the Kidlit World is Laura?” and we’ll have another fun poll.

(If you’d like to catch the previous Distancing Socials on replay, look below for the links.)

The Kidlit Distancing Social takes place every Thursday at 5 PM Pacific, 8 PM Eastern.  Every week, join Laura and some great guests to chat about children’s literature, share your writing triumphs and catch up on the latest kidlit news. These live video events are completely free to anyone who loves children’s books. Each will last about an hour. It’s the perfect way to stay connected and inspired during these difficult times.

No need to register, just show up. You can join simply by clicking this link a few minutes before the start time and following a few simple instructions:

We’ll also be streaming live on our Facebook page – https://www.facebook.com/WriteKidsBooks/.

And yes – please share this link with everyone you know who loves to write.  We will be recording each Distancing Social and offering them for replay if you can’t make it live.
