While we may often point to external circumstances as the cause of successes or failures, the truth is that what we achieve in life is largely the result of our own attitudes and actions. That’s true in writing, and it’s true in every aspect of our life.

That’s why it’s so important to, once in a while, look in the mirror and see if our habits and thought patterns are helping us or standing in our way. This powerful infographic from the folks at SuccessStory.com will help you identify your own obstacles, and replace them with something far more conducive to success. It’s really vital stuff, and we’re pleased to share it with you.

I like the fact that successful people are positive in their thoughts and actions. It reminds me of how I interact in my Christian life, with positive attributes being the foremost thing in my belief system. Learning from mistakes and changing direction when wrong are two ways that successful habits can improve a person’s outlook on life.
